Rising Total

This morning we received £653.80 from Welsh School of which £535.00 was from bike ride sponsorship and £118.80 was from a nonuniform day. Excellent work from Gwyr students and staff - thank you.

Also we received another £96.04 from the Gowerton Post Office who have been selling used books. Well done to the Post Office and if you have any books cluttering up your house, feel free to drop them off there :)

The grand total now stands just short of £4,000 at £3975.58. This is an excellent achievement considering we have only been fund-raising for 2.5 months :)

Old Mobile Phones for Cash

We are now collecting old mobile phones to convert to cash. We have already received around £30 of cash for the appeal.

If you have an old, forgotten mobile in the back of a drawer, never to be used again, please fish it out - contact Gaynor via the Facebook group and she'll sort out collecting it and trading it in.

We are very grateful to Tregwyr Infants School and Tregwyr Junior School who have raised £399 and £160 respectively, from a non-uniform day and Bike Ride Sponsorship.

Thanks to all involved! :)

Not long to go now until the Gower Bike Ride on June 6th. Tesco will be selling refreshments outside their store in Bryn-y-mor Road in Gowerton with profits donated to the crossing. Come along and see our brave cyclists as they pass through the village!
