An excellent morning at the Christmas Craft Market
The Christmas Craft Market was held this morning at St John's Church Hall, and we made £245 for the Pelican Crossing Appeal from the tea/coffee, cakes, raffle and "Guess the name of the Bear".
This was an excellent effort - so many thanks to Rhian Davies who organised the Market, Elaine Thomas, Maureen Saysell and Joanna Leeuwerke who manned the raffle, and Gaynor Thomas and Louise Chittenden who made the tea and sold the cakes. And of course, all the stall-holders for bringing their wares!

Autumn Fayre raises £540!
Our Autumn Fayre was held today in the Sports Hall of Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr and raised a magnificent £540. The Fayre was opened by Kevin Johns of Swansea Sound who got us off to a great start and a pleasant afternoon was passed which included browsing the stalls, sampling the cakes from the cake stall and having a nice cup of tea!
Very well done to everyone who was involved in organising the Fayre: publicity, donating items, serving on the stalls and clearing up afterwards. It was nice to see so many of the local community turning out to support the cause :)
